This site describes how we work. Your signed contract is what binds us. Where the two differ, the contract wins.
These terms apply between you and Black Diamond Roofing LLC (“Black Diamond,” “we,” “us”), Oregon CCB #219931, whenever you use this website, schedule an inspection through it, or call us because of it. By using the site you accept them. If you don't, please don't use it.
Any price on this site is a description of how we price, not an offer. A bid is a written document we give you after an inspection, and it is valid for the period stated on it. Nothing is binding on either of us until we both sign a written contract.
Once signed, the contract governs the scope, materials, price, payment schedule, start date, warranty and everything else about the job. Descriptions on this site, including of our process, guarantees and response times, describe how we normally work; the contract states what we have actually committed to for your project.
Our standard payment terms are a 35% deposit at signing, with the balance on the schedule printed in the contract. The contract may set different terms for a specific job. Financing is offered through Service Finance, a separate company; your financing agreement is with them, under their terms, and approval is theirs to give.
We aim to be on your roof within 2 hours of an emergency call during the hours we operate. Weather, road conditions, safety, and the number of calls we receive in a storm can make that impossible on a given day. When it is, we'll tell you when we can be there. An emergency visit stops the leak where we safely can; the repair itself is quoted in writing before we do it.
Manufacturer warranties are provided by the manufacturer under its own terms and are registered by us in your name after the job is complete and paid. Our workmanship warranty is written into your contract, with its term and its year-by-year schedule printed there. This site describes our warranties in general terms; the contract and the manufacturer's certificate are the documents that apply.
Reviews shown on this site are copied from our public Google Business Profile as written by their authors, with only trimming for length where noted. We don't pay for reviews or edit their meaning. Photos of roofs are of our own work unless a caption says otherwise. Photos of inspections show real conditions we found; they are examples, not a prediction of what we'll find on your roof.
Black Diamond Roofing LLC is licensed, bonded and insured in Oregon under CCB #219931. You can verify the license, bond and any complaint history at the Oregon Construction Contractors Board. We do not currently hold a Washington contractor registration and do not perform work in Washington.
The site is provided as is. We work to keep it accurate and available but don't promise that it always will be. To the extent Oregon law allows, Black Diamond isn't liable for losses that come from relying on the site itself, as opposed to a signed contract. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, and nothing here reduces the rights the contract, Oregon contractor law or the CCB give you.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon. If we have a dispute about a job, we'll try to resolve it directly first; if that fails, the CCB's dispute process is available to you, and either of us may bring a claim in the courts of Marion County, Oregon, unless the contract says otherwise.
